fishbat Urges Brand Consistency Across All Social Media Platforms

Following an article posted on Business 2 Community, fishbat, an award winning online marketing company, discusses four tips to keep your business’ brand image consistent across all social media platforms.

fishbat, an award-winning online marketing company, discusses four tips to keep help keep a business’ brand image consistent across all social media platforms.

Following a March 24th article posted on Business 2 Community titled “7 Tips For Brand Consistency Across Social Channels,” while different strategies need to be implemented for each social media platform (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc.), consistency in brand image must remain the same.

Justin Maas, vice president of client relations at fishbat, an award winning online marketing company agrees. “What works for Facebook may not work for Twitter. However, there must to be some sort of brand consistency. Brand consistency is one of the most important aspects of marketing. The brand’s message must be unified and easily identifiable on each platform.”

Maas discusses some tips on how to keep brand image consistent:

1. Get an understanding of the brand’s fans. “Different demographics use different social media platforms,” he explains. “They may also use these networks differently. It’s important to research your target market, and decide on a strategy accordingly.”

2. Decide on the brand’s voice. “A great way to differentiate a brand from others is an original ‘voice.’ For instance, if your brand was a person, how would he or she talk? Add humor into brand language or keep it formal. It all depends on what the brand represents and what its target market is. Keep in mind that the voice will also dictate who will be attracted to the brand, so keeping the target market in mind at this stage is a must,” Maas explains.

3. Update regularly. “One huge mistake brands make is not updating regularly. For example, I have seen brands post every day one week, and then only once the next. That is not a good way to attract a following,” he says.

4. From offline to online. “If a brand is already successful offline, there is no need to change everything. In fact, that can be detrimental as the goal is to keep a consistent brand image. Use the same logos, color scheme, and voice in online marketing that is already being used offline,” Mass concludes.

fishbat is a full-service digital marketing firm and social media agency dedicated to connecting all types of businesses with their target audiences in the most effective and efficient way. Through innovative strategies in social media management, search engine optimization (SEO), branding, web design, reputation management and public relations, fishbat promotes a consistent and professional online voice for all of its clients.

MPC Licenses FabricSG and Splice to Customize Production Pipeline

Customizable Frameworks and Powerful Coding Language Enable Speedy Development of 3D Apps and Add-Ons; To Be Deployed Across Worldwide Network

Today, Fabric Software Inc (formerly Fabric Engine Inc) announces that award-winning VFX studio Moving Picture Company (MPC), a division of Technicolor, has purchased a global site license of Fabric Engine, a development platform for building high-performance tools and applications for use in production.

MPC will be using Fabric Splice (an API for creating tools within other applications) to augment their existing pipeline, and Fabric SceneGraph (a standalone framework for building complete applications) to build next-generation tools that fully leverage modern hardware.

“We expect our use of Fabric Engine to transform the productivity of our developers and technical artists,” said Nick Cannon, Global Director of Technology for Film. “This will allow us to develop tools that we previously did not have the time to write and ultimately will dramatically improve the productivity of our artists through higher performance tools. The capability of Fabric to immediately scale with new hardware enables us to take advantage of the raw performance available from our multi-core CPUs and GPUs without refactoring our tools.”

MPC originally planned to write a next generation application framework that would take the company into the next stage of VFX making. But after they started reviewing FabricSG, they found the performance and design lined up so well with what they wanted that it made much more sense to partner with Fabric Software and build next-gen applications on top of the Fabric Engine framework.

“What our TDs really need is a simple environment to write their tools in, and Fabric Splice is perfect for this,” said Damien Fagnou, Global Head of Software. “We have always used scripting at MPC because our TDs and developers love the simplicity of it. The programming workflow for scripting makes for very fast iterations, but too often the runtime speed is not good enough. Now with Splice we can have the ease of use of scripting with the speed of a compiled language like C++.”

“In order to succeed, application frameworks need the right support and vision behind them,” added Fagnou. ”We have been so pleased with the team at Fabric Software, their passion and commitment to the framework really shows and we can’t wait to work even more closely with them in the future!”

More thoughts on why MPC chose Fabric Engine can be seen in this video.

About Fabric Engine

Fabric Engine is a framework for building custom 2D and 3D applications for production pipelines. It is designed to be accessible to TDs familiar with Python and Qt, as well as programmers that looking for ways to properly leverage the power of modern hardware in their tools. With Fabric Engine as the base, developers can quickly create a wide range of high-performance applications – including animation tools, image and video processing, real-time rendering, motion capture processing, simulation and much more.

About Fabric Software

Fabric Software is a software engineering company founded in 2010 in Montreal, Canada by a group of well-known developers from Softimage and Autodesk. Known for their work on CAT and ICE, the team has a collective expertise in parallel computing, hardware optimization, software architecture, design, animation, rendering and production workflows.
