Most Infamous Fugitives Worldwide in Society

On June 22, 2011, after 17-year hunting, the FBI finally arrested one of Boston’s most infamous gangsters named James “Whitey” Bulger. Here is the list we compiled about infamous fugitives worldwide.


 


James “Whitey” Bulger


82-year-old James “Whitey” Bulger, one of Boston’s most infamous gangsters, is a former Irish-American mob boss and longtime Federal fugitive with a list of alleged crimes including money laundering, extortion, drug dealing and 19 murders. He is one of the FBI’s most-wanted men in the world, after al-Qaeda leader Bin Laden who was killed in May and also the oldest person ever to be added to the list. In 1999, the FBI has suspended two million dollars for anyone capturing Bulger but then he was arrested in Santa Monica.

Osama bin Laden


Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden was the founder of al-Qaeda, the jihadist organization responsible for the September 11 attacks in the United States and numerous mass-casualty attacks against civilian and military targets. He is one of 10 FBI’s most-wanted men globally and the U.S. government to be offered a million reward for the capture of Osama bin Laden. On 5 November 2011, President Barack Obama announced on nationwide television that bin Laden had been killed in Abbottabad U.S., Pakistan.

Ted Bundy


In 1978, Ted Bundy was added to the FBI’s most-wanted list after a series of disappearance and killings of teen girls in Oregon, Washington and Utah. After twice escaping successfully, he became more and famous in the underground world. Although Bundy confessed to 28 murders but the police said that the exact number was up to 100 cases. In 1989, this infamous criminal was executed by Florida’s electric chair at the age of 43.

Angela Davis



In the 1960s and ’70s, Angela Davis is one of FBI’s most-wanted people for murder and kidnapping, which led to the shooting in Marin, California, causing a judge and several others dead


 


Juan Garcia Abrego



In 1986, Abrego was listed in one of the most wanted fugitives for money-laundering and drug-possession charges, including masterminding the smuggling of nearly 15 tons of cocaine from Mexico to the U.S


 


James Earl Ray



James Earl Ray eventually became one of the most notorious murderers of all time after assassinating civil rights hero Martin Luther King Jr. in Memphis on April 4, 1968. Ray was taken into prison for a 99-year punishment; however, he died in prison of hepatitis C at the age of 70 in 1998


 


Ruth Eisemann-Schier



Eisemann-Schier was the first woman to be added on the FBI’s most-wanted list in 1968 for the kidnapping of Barbara Jane Mackle and extortion


 


Thomas James Holden



Holden was accused of robbery and prison breaks in the 1920s and ’30s, then arrested at a golf course in Kansas. In 1950, he continued relating to murdering his wife and two sons in Chicago. Later, he was arrested in Oregon in 1951 and died in prison


 


Daniel Andreas San Diego



In April 2009, Daniel Andreas San Diego became the first American to be named in the FBI’s most wanted terrorists for the bombing of two buildings in San Francisco


 


Donald Eugene Webb



Donald Eugene Webb holds the record of the most time spent on the FBI’s most-wanted list for crime of beating police Chief Gregory Adams and then killing himself by shooting twice at close range
